Rules
- Must be signed up with tournament rewards to be eligible for Nitro, Tracker, and Bonus Money (call for details).
- Lie detector will be given to winners at tournament director's discretion.
- Money will be held until lie detector given if tournament director deems necessary.
- Scoring system will be used top 6 out of 8 tournaments.
- 1 in 3 - 30% will qualify for classic on points or fish 8 tournaments.
- No substitute fishermen will be allowed unless 18 years old or younger.
- Cannot fish without paying membership.
- All fish released.
- Spotted large mouth bass and small mouth bass, five fish limit.
- 18 years of age or accompanied by someone over 18.
- $150 entry fee classic - including Big Fish.
- Ties combined and split.
- Short fish below 12" will be culled along with Big Fish.
- 1 pound of dead fish penalty - no dead fish used for Big Fish.
- Late return disqualified.
- Only five fish in live well no culling at dock or weigh in.
- Trail winner instant pay based on 8 tournaments fished.
- Full field of Classic qualifiers both days weight combined. Weights combined both days of Classic.
- Classic will be two days on Logan Martin, Lay Lake, or Lake Martin. Two different lakes will be fished for the classic, the first lake drawn will be fished Saturday and the second will be fished Sunday. Order of lakes will be decided at the banquet.
- Lakes will be off limits from Monday before Classic until start of tournament Saturday morning.
- No alcohol during tournament hours.
- 5 bonus points Big Fish.
- 5 bonus points 1st Place.
- Previous year Classic Winner and Angler of the Year automatically advance to Classic.
- Amatures only - no Touring Pros.
- All contestants must wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket while gas engine is on and a kill switch must be attached.
- If disqualified, eligibility will be based on tournament director decision at future events.
- Must use our weigh-in bags. At tournament director’s discretion.
- All protests must be in writing turned in to the tournament director before checks are paid.
- No live bait or trolling.
- MONEY FOR CLASSIC MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO DRAWING OF CLASSIC LAKE ON THURSDAY, OCT. 1ST. IF NOT PAID BEFORE DRAWING, YOU CANNOT FISH. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- $500.00 Bonus Bucks from Sylacauga Marine paid at Sylacauga Marine with proof of purchase to original owner for a period of 3 years from date of sale new or used boat.
- Bassmaster Team Championship Teams will be picked based on number of teams enrolled.
- First team eligible will be Classic Winner. Second team will be angles of the year.
- If team cannot participate, will roll to next team at Classic.
- Membership will include membership into Bassmasters.
Waiver and Release of Liability
READ BEFORE SIGNING
In consideration of receiving a fishing membership or being allowed to participate in any way in the Tracker Nitro Big Bucks Buddy Trail, (“the Trail”) related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that:
- The risk of injury from the activities involved in the activity of boating and fishing on the Trail can be significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk for serious injury does exist, and,
- I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation, and,
- I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If however, I observe any unusual, significant hazard during my presence or participation on the Trail, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately, and,
- I, for myself and on behalf of me heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Tracker Nitro Big Bucks Buddy Trial; and Sylacauga Marine & ATV, Inc., their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASES OR OTHERWISE, and,
- The undersigned expressly agrees that this Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement (“Agreement”) is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Alabama and that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama. The undersigned agrees that in the event that any clause or provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall continue to be enforceable.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP ALL SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
